The monthly scientific journal “Agrarian Economics” was registered by the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus in the State Registry of Mass Media on May 18, 2009, reg. No. 397. The area of distribution is the Republic of Belarus.

The journal publishes articles on issues of agricultural production economics, as well as papers informing about the latest technologies and innovations in different production branches of agriculture offered by the national and foreign researchers. It also presents materials on the state policy of the Republic of Belarus and other countries in the given sphere.

The Journal is included in the List of Scientific Editions for Publication of the Results of Dissertation Research in the Republic of Belarus and in the database of Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI).

The Journal is included in the Subscription Catalogue of the Republic of Belarus; the subscription indices are 75033 (for individuals) and 759332 (for institutions).

Abstract

The most important conditions determining the significance and socio­ economic justification of state regulation and support of the agricultural sector of Belarus are outlined. A methodology for analyzing the efficiency of an agricultural organization is presented, taking into account indicators by groups: production potential, economic efficiency, financial result, effectiveness in solving problems of sustainable development of the agroindustrial complex, and allowing the use of differentiated measures of state regulation and support. The use of a balanced incentive mechanism in order to improve the efficiency of agricultural production, providing for a link with target criteria of productivity and labor productivity, is substantiated.

Abstract

The stages of the evolution of state support for the agroindustrial complex of Belarus in the new conditions of economic management, conditioned by a number of circumstances and trends in which the subjects of the agroindustrial complex functioned and rural areas developed in the historical period, taking into account the orientation of the applied measures, are highlighted: 1) evaluation and preparation; 2) strategic transformation; 3) improvement and introduction of new mechanisms; 4) promotion of rural development and modernization of production; 5) consolidation of the state support model.  In addition, based on the study of government measures and transformations, as well as the results obtained and the necessary goals, and taking into account the comprehensive and comprehensive analy­ sis, the key aspects of the formation of the next stage of development of the domestic agroindustrial complex for 2026–2030 are proposed – transformation of agroindustrial business and improvement of targeted state support.

An assessment was made of the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals from the point of view of guaranteeing food security in the Republic of Belarus. Based on statistical information, the state of basic indicators of the efficiency of the food supply system in the domestic market is analyzed.

Abstract

The results of research of the market potential of new types of meat products for the nutrition of preschool and school children with an elevated body mass index are presented. The social importance of the introduction of these products in the diet of children studying at educational institutions is reflected. The estimation of potential demand volume of the internal market in new meat products of reduced caloric content developed at Institute of Meat and Dairy Industry is carried out. The complex of measures to stimu late the production and consumption of these products in the Republic of Belarus has been substantiated.
