Abstract

A set of factors has been defined that allow assessing the level of competitiveness of agricultural products in foreign markets. A methodology has been developed for a comprehensive assessment of the competitive conditions of domestic exporters in external agricultural markets according to the levels of their geographic priority for the Republic of Belarus, which is based on a system of indicators and the sequence of selection of the most promising sales markets. The developed methodology was tested on the example of the commodity item FEACN (040210 (SMP), which made it possible to identify countries that are promising sales markets for domestic exporters of skim milk powder. A list of commodity items that constitute the potential for developing domestic export potential in the agricultural sector has been determined.

Abstract

The paper presents the results of analyzing the evolutionary sequence of development of agroindustrial cooperation concepts. The models of building cooperativeintegrative relations in agroindustrial production at the national and regional levels corresponding to the individual stages are described, and examples of their practical implementation are given. Constructive transitions in the substantiation of goals, forms and directions of agroindustrial cooperation development are defined. Sectoral trends characterizing new formats of building cooperative ties have been identified. The dynamics is visua lized, phase transitions of the development vector are defined and regularities of formation of the conceptual basis of agroindustrial cooperation in the system of national and international documents of strategic planning and management are substantiated. The necessity of methodological study of coherent economic structures as a form of target synchronization of joint activities of subjects in a dyna mic external environment is shown.

The model of sustainable development management is also developed and evaluation indicators for quantitative and cost characterization in accordance with the identified elements are proposed.

Abstract

A mechanism of state regulation of seed production in the context of strengthening food security is proposed, based on the phased application of specific management tools depending on the degree of formation and  development of the seed business. The results of the study reflect the objective need to expand the areas of regulation and support, which allows increasing the scientific, production and expert potential of the vegetable seed industry. It has been established that the basis for effective interaction between seed and vegetable producers in the long term is formed by systemic monitoring of the vegetable seed market and vegetable products. To carry it out, a system of assessment indicators has been developed for the functional areas – marketing, innovation, regulation. The following are adopted as targets: “the share of use of varieties and hybrids of vegetable seeds of domestic selection”, “the share of processed vegetables, in the cultivation of which varieties and hybrids of seeds of domestic selection were used”.
