The implementation of the new agricultural policy of the European Union

Abstract

The article shows the main approaches to state regulation of the development of the agro-industrial sector at the level of the European Union as a whole and in the context of the participating countries; characteristic features and principles that determine the success and integrity of a single agrarian policy; factors contributing to the productivity of agricultural land; agri-environmental requirements limiting the import of genetically modified products; main tasks in the development of the new policy of the agricultural sector of the economy; priority areas for regulating measures to support agricultural producers, integrated development of rural areas, and increasing the competitiveness of the EU agrarian sector.
