The journal was founded in 1995 as a newsletter on market relations issues of the Belorussian Research Institute of Economics and Informatization in Agroindustrial Complex. Until 2005 this institute (during this period it changed its name several times) was the founder and publishing organization of the journal. In 1995 the first and second issues were published under the title “Agrobulletin”, the title of the third issue was “Infagro”, and from the fourth issue until 2005 it was called “Agroeconomics”. Since 2006 it has been published under the modern title, the founders of the journal are the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Republican Scientific Unitary Enterprise "Institute of System Studies in the Agro-Industrial Complex of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus", and the publishing organization is the Publishing House “Belaruskaya Navuka”. Publication frequency of the journal since its foundation is 12 issues per year.
