Abstract

Methodological approaches to establishing land areas suitable for agricultural cultivation were analyzed. Potential planting areas for each crop included in the list of products and raw materials purchased for national state needs were determined by district. Resource potential was assessed, which was used to segment agricultural producers by administrative district.

Areas of comparable arable land were determined, taking into account soil conditions that determine crop cultivation potential, as well as the level of resource potential of the agricultural sector. These areas serve as a basis for distributing agricultural product volumes for purchase in a specific region for each individual crop.

Abstract

A comprehensive theoretical and methodological framework for energy-efficient food production has been developed, encompassing a multifaceted system of principles and fundamental laws of energy efficiency. For the first time, a system of principles structured by functional areas (environmental, innovative, social, production, organizational and production, and managerial) has been proposed, ensuring the coordinated management of energy flows in the agri-food sector. A classification of energy efficiency laws by their nature of influence (limiting, stimulating, neutral) and temporal stability (constant and activated) is presented, with their implications for the analysis and forecasting of energy consumption trends established. The obtained results fill a methodological gap in agricultural economic science and lay the foundation for the development of organizational and economic mechanisms for the rational management of energy resources and the implementation of innovative technologies, taking into account systemic constraints and growth potential.
