Abstract
The article discusses the principles, functions and essence of the fruit and vegetable market, substantiates a set of internal and external factors affecting its functioning. The problems associated with changes in market conditions in foreign countries and the Republic of Belarus are described. The tendencies of the market of fruits and vegetables that determine the sustainability of its development, as well as the volumes of production and domestic consumption of the goods presented on it, their quality and price parameters.
