World corn production: dynamics, regional features and growth factors

Abstract

The dynamics of world corn production for the period 1975–2024 are examined. Changes in yield and planted area in the adjacent region are analyzed, which determine the nature and rationale for the types of industry development depending on geographic location. The dominance of the United States in production and export supplies to global markets is established, while corn cultivation is shifting toward the Asian region.
