Author Guidelines
The Agrarian Economy journal publishes articles on the economics of agroindustrial production, as well as materials informing about the latest technologies and developments of domestic and foreign scientists in various branches of agriculture, and about the state policy of the Republic of Belarus in this area. The editors of the journal ask the authors of the submitted materials to be guided by the following rules.
- Submitted articles must be original materials, not previously published in other printed publications. The article is submitted in printed form, with a clear image and a separate file in electronic form. The article includes text, tables, figures, photographs and bibliography. The text of the article is presented in Russian or Belarusian. Its title must be accompanied by the full name and surname of the author in English transliteration, as well as a translation of the title of the article into English. The electronic version should be typed in the Microsoft Word text editor (DOC format), using the Times New Roman font (font size – 14 pt, 2 intervals, indent – 0 cm (before and after), interval – auto (before and after). Pages are numbered from the first inclusive.
The functions “link”, “hyperlink”, “footnote”, “autoformat”, “macro”, etc. are not used when typing the text. If necessary, footnotes are formatted manually and placed at the end of the text – before the list of references.
Tables are part of the text and are typed using the table editor included in Microsoft Word. The width of tables is 100 %. Automatic table break is allowed when moving to a new page.
Formulas are part of the text. They are executed using the Math Type formula editor in the Times New Roman font. Latin characters are typed in italics.
Photographs, drawings and other raster images that do not contain text are presented as not included in the text articles in TIFF or JPEG format files with a resolution of at least 300 dpi.
Figures containing text (diagrams, graphs, charts) are created using Microsoft Word (the "drawing" function) or Microsoft Excel and are presented as files of the format used to create them (DOC or XLS) that are not included in the text of the article.
The text included in the illustrations is typed in Times New Roman.
Illustration files are numbered in accordance with the order in which they are located in the article.
Illustration captions are part of the text of the article. Their location corresponds to the location of the photographs (figures).
- In accordance with the International System of Units (SI), the dimensions of all quantities used in the article must correspond to the specified measurement system.
- The literature used is given as a general list on a separate page, bibliographic entries are arranged in the order of citation. References in the text are designated by serial numbers in square brackets. The list of references must be prepared in accordance with the order of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus dated 25.06.2014 No. 159 (as amended by the order of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus dated 01.10.2024 No. 230).
References to unpublished works are not allowed.
- According to the order of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus dated 02.02.2011 No. 26, the journal "Agrarian Economy" is included in the list of scientific publications for publishing the results of dissertation research in economic sciences. Articles classified as scientific publications are accompanied by a review and an expert council opinion (examination report) on the possibility of publishing the work in the open press, a summary in Russian and English, and the index according to the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC). Articles on the results of work carried out in a scientific institution must have permission from the management of this institution for publication. Works whose authors include academicians and corresponding members may not be reviewed.
- The text of the scientific article must be prepared in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 5 of the Instructions for the preparation of a dissertation, abstract and publications on the topic of the dissertation (approved by the Resolution of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus dated 28.02.2014 No. 3).
- Failure to comply with these rules may result in the article being rejected from publication or its postponement.
- Publication in the journal is free for authors. A license agreement is concluded. Authors are not paid a fee for published articles.
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The manuscripts are accepted if has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
The materials should be prepared in a format OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or World Perfect.
Internet links are provided as a complete URL.
Text should be typed with an interval of one and a half line spacing, font Times New Roman, 14 pt; to highlight the accents it is recommended to use italics rather than underlining (except Internet links). All images, graphics and tables are placed within the text according to the meaning of the particular part of text (and not at the end of the document).
Text should follow the stylistic and bibliography requirements as stated in Regulations located in the Part "About Us."
Please, remove the authors' names from the title of the article and other parts of the document to ensure the anonymity of reviewing.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:
