Проанализирована практика использования цифровых двойников в сельском хозяйстве. Выделены основные преимущества, недостатки, принципы, а также инфраструктура для их построения. Обоснованы экономические эффекты и актуальность применения цифровых двойников для моделирования производственно-экономических процессов на уровне предприятия, района, отрасли с выходом на формирование Платформы цифровых двойников сельскохозяйственного производства.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>   The article presents the author’s concept of development and systemic application of digital twins technology to improve production efficiency in the value chain of agroindustrial complex. The analysis of the practice of using digital twins in agriculture has been carried out. The main advantages, disadvantages, principles, as well as the infrastructure for their construction are highlighted.
